Irena Viitiuk founded IV Atelier after graduating from the New York School of Interior Design — one of the most rigorous and specialized design schools in the country. That foundation shapes everything about how the studio works: a belief that design is a discipline, that every material decision is also a structural one, and that beauty without intention is decoration, not design.
Her approach is direct. She is drawn to projects where the brief is genuinely challenging — constrained budgets, unusual layouts, historic buildings, clients with high expectations and complex needs. These constraints, rather than limiting the work, tend to produce it. The best projects in the studio's portfolio came from someone who pushed back.
IV Atelier is based in Miami but works with clients across the United States. The studio's current focus is hospitality, retail, and high-end residential — spaces where the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is entirely in the details.

IV Atelier designs spaces that don't play it safe. Not because restraint isn't valued — it's one of the hardest things to execute well — but because the studio is not interested in producing rooms that look like they could belong to anyone.
Every project starts with the same question: what should this space feel like before the furniture arrives? The answer — the atmosphere, the light quality, the proportion of a ceiling, the weight of a material — is where the real design happens. Everything else is filling in the detail.
The standard doesn't change regardless of scale. What changes is the vocabulary, not the conviction.
How we work
The studio takes on a small number of commissions each year by design. Not as a marketing position — because work done at full attention produces different results than work spread thin.
From concept development and space planning through material specification, FF&E, and project oversight — IV Atelier manages the entire process. One point of contact. No handoffs.
The studio's work spans boutique hotels, restaurant concepts, jewelry showrooms, and private residences. The common thread is that every space has to perform — commercially, experientially, and visually.
Based in Miami with projects across South Florida. The studio works remotely for the right commissions — detailed design packages, 3D visualization, and material coordination delivered anywhere.
